Share your opinion, get free and discounted travel!

Hotel loyalty rewards programs can be a great way to save on travel expenses. There are dozens of hotel chains that offer points for every dollar spent or for every night booked. Being a member of these programs can sometimes get you free upgrades and perks, too!

One of my favorite hotel loyalty programs is the Hilton Honors program. All members get perks like priority check-ins and discount pricing. For every dollar you spend on a Hilton hotel stay, you get 10 points. Once you accrue 5,000 points, you can use those points towards your free hotel stay. After staying 10 nights or more, you move up to the Silver benefits category and earn 20 points per dollar spent. If you travel often (over 60 nights per year), you can move all the way up to Diamond status and earn a whopping 100% bonus points on stays! Bonus points can also be used towards Lyft rides, rental cars, dining, VIP experiences, and even everyday purchases at Amazon. (Now would also be a good time for me to mention that this blog post is not sponsored or endorsed by Hilton in any way and is 100% my opinion. Now, on with the show!)
But, did you know that you can answer surveys for Hilton Honors points, too?

By joining Guest Opinion Rewards, you can complete surveys for points on your Hilton Honors account! Currently, they’re offering 1250 bonus points just for signing up. The surveys are reasonable in length and they’ll tell you how long it will take. No lengthy pre-screening: you’ll know after answering a few questions if you qualify for the survey or not. If you didn’t qualify for a survey, you’ll still get 10 points or so just for attempting. There’s usually several surveys available daily, so if you’re consistent, you can be on the road to 5,000 bonus points in no time! Join Guest Opinion Rewards here.
This hack even works at Walt Disney World, since there are two Hilton hotels in Disney Springs and one in nearby Bonnet Creek. Both the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Hotel and Buena Vista Palace offer character dining (in non-COVID times) and the Bonnet Creek resort is a fan favorite! Other hotels in the Disney Springs area include DoubleTree Suites and the luxurious Waldorf Astoria. I was able to recently use a combination of points accrued from previous stays plus points from Guest Opinion Surveys to treat our family to a stay at the Waldorf! If I can do it, you can definitely do it, too.
A few things to keep in mind:
• If you aren’t a Hilton Honors member, you’ll want to join it first, then sign up for Guest Opinion Rewards. Both programs are totally free to join.
• Points can be used at any of the Hilton portfolio of hotels (that’s over 5,900 hotels around the world!).
• Points expire after 12 months
• Allow 4-6 weeks for points to transfer from Guest Opinion Rewards to your Hilton Honors account.
Let me know if you try this travel hack! I’d love to hear your thoughts ❤️
